SUMMARY OF PRACTICE
Chris Kemprowski received his B.A. degree from The University of Virginia in 1987 and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1990.
Chris joined Flanagan, Barone & O’Brien in December 2023 in an Of Counsel capacity. Chris has over thirty years of litigation experience and has tried dozens of jury cases to verdict.
His areas of expertise encompass all areas of Insurance Coverage and Defense, as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Chris’ Insurance Coverage and Defense practice primarily includes the defense of insureds in auto, premises liability and construction matters.
Chris is a Rule 1:40 Qualified Mediator, and serves the Superior Court of New Jersey in its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Mediation and Arbitration Programs.
Chris argued the cause before the New Jersey Appellate Division in the reported matter of Raimo v. Fischer, 372 N.J. 448 (App. Div. 2004). After twenty (20) years, Raimo remains the controlling case law in construction premises liability matters.
Prior to joining Flanagan, Barone & O’Brien, Chris acted as senior trial counsel in civil matters with staff counsel for Royal, One Beacon, Harleysville and Mercury Insurance companies.
Chris is admitted to practice in New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court, New York and Pennsylvania.
